Come to vent....

So I took my car to a new mechanics that is 4 doors down from my work today that specialise in evos and rex's but really pride themselves on working on custom cars. Thought they are too convenient not to try.

Basically had them install an oil delete plate and an inline thermostat with braided black nylon lines to my ER sports oil cooler kit. Soooo the oil delete plate did not seal properly and when they turned the car on the oil FOUNTAINED from the gasket and covered the entire engine bay in oil. When I mean covered, I mean it is in the crease between the qtr panels and coming out in pools from the side skirts. I am beyond irate right now

I'm also OCD and just had the car fully detailed and opti-coated. It looked like it had just rolled off the showroom 2 days ago.

I've just come to vent....the wife doesn't understand the blood sweat and tears that goes into this car shit....

Lesson learned. Do it yourself...

P.S. Anyone got any good degreasing tips? I'm temped to strip the entire front end to get it degreased as I don't want oil slowly weeping from every crack and crease for the next year.

Thanks for listening lol....
