I thought the same until I saw all the 'stunt' work being done - that tells me we will see a 'movie' in the near future.
It would make sense to package all that work (the B-roll vids, the 1ntensity vids, the static photos, a movie, etc) into a single shoot. What we've seen so far is a glimpse into the total output that's been created - but we haven't seen it all.
BMW, I believe, understands the value of the 'net' as well or better than most other car companies. This has been an education for me watching how aware they are of the net's value in shaping opinion and marketing.
