As far as a cleaning product, people on here love Sonax, and I've used P21s with good results. However, with a nice coat of wheel seal (a pain to put on, but you only should need to apply a couple times a year) you don't even need cleaner. I just use the regular car wash soap to clean them up.

What this man said. Invest a few dollars in quality brushes and they'll be completely worth it. I'd also recommend buying a big jug of a quality wheel cleaner - you'll save money in the long run.
