It's a fantastic piece of machinery

With the matte paintwork, yes it is harder to maintain, because you can't really polish it. There is a clear coat on there, but it is finished to ABSORB light, rather than reflecting light like regular clear coats do.

Similar protection properties but cannot be polished. If you do, you make it glossy.

So in a nut shell, if you do encounter swirls, scratches, watermarks, etc, you live with it or you get the panel resprayed. And that's if they can match the rest of the car.

With this LP570-4, the entire car is covered with matte vinyl stoneguard. Highly recommended if you have a matte/satin painted car.
