Good question - have you tried asking BMW themselves ???
I do know that manufacturers discontinue and re-introduce for their own marketing reasons, very popular or very well selling colours...and they will discontinue a very poor selling colour.
Was the SGM a good seller to begin with ???
If not, that may very well be the reason :iono:
