after struggling to find any "right-angle tools", i resorted to pulling them out.
i dont think i could have broken them by pulling them out even if i tried. the tabs holding them in are small and angled enough to just fall out with a little encouragement. if anybody is curious, i pulled out from the top, side and bottom tabs in that order.
