I had a black car at 35% for around 7 years. I was probably pulled over 5 or 6 times in that period without issue. Right before selling the car, I missed a stop sign, got pulled over, and was ticketed for the tint. The officer said "We're not in Arizona, dumbass."
I'll likely go 35% again, on the off chance that I move to Arizona.
