Looks great. My first BMW was delivered new (from Peabody) with no front plate. The salesman (oops, now CA) told me he thought it looked better and if I get pulled over, tell them the US plate bracket is on order at the BMW dealership.
I drove it like that for 14 years ('96 to 2010), only putting it on temporarily once a year for state inspection (used one screw hole from the euro plate hole hidden behind bumper trim). Pulled over probably 6-8 times in those 14 years (speeding) and I never once was cited for it. Sold the car like that. Always kept the front plate in the trunk.
The 135i I purchased already had the front plate, so I've kept it on (once bumper drilled, no going back).
