None of that is news. Since they use an electric throttle position, they can apply all sorts of throttle maps. (torque demand, power demand, and combination of). As such with little 'turbo' lag, the non-linear nature of the engine can be effectively smoothed. AS-IS there are two distinct maps 0-50% is daily driving, 50-100% is track mode. The blend point is very evident, and it doesn't need to be.
