In the interest of keeping my build thread current, here's a few updates.
I crossed a milestone -- finally broke 10k miles.
Did an HPDE at Thunderhill and had a blast. The car handled great, stopped reliably, but gave me some minor limp mode issues related to temperature once I started pushing my limits in the afternoon. I've got some work to do on increasing cooling capacity and coding out nannies, especially the calculated brake temperature one. RBF 600 held up great though. I averaged 8.5mpg at the track and used an entire tank of gas in 101 miles.
I've added a base rack and Thule bike carrier and BMS CDV since my last update here. My next project is swapping in an E92 M3 FSB I just picked up.
In general I'm quite happy with the state of the car and am not planning many other mods until I've put significant mileage on the car. Possibly an oil cooler. Otherwise it's pretty much driving bliss for me right now.
