Some additional tips

This is an excellent mod, thanks for the detailed how-to. I just did this and could add some refinements:

- if you have some trim tools and are comfortable with trim work, remove the frontmost pin on the side lining. Once loose, it's easier to attach the back plate. The two pins can stay on as well, as they snap into a hole in the frame.

- I didn't use the paper template. Once a small hole is cut, slide the bolt through the outer trim piece, and loosely attach it to the frame. Trace inside the outer trim piece with chalk, and cut the hole slightly larger than the outline. It worked perfectly.
