Time to defend ourselves on autoblog again
Autoblog posted about the passenger ride along in Spain and as usual the flock of autoblog have defended. Time to mount a defense.

Those commenters are morons... no defense neccessary. Not getting laid and sitting at home in their parents' basements is plenty.
On topic - I really really really hope ///M does something nice for us on the dash and cluster of this car, like maybe covering it in suede or carbon leather. I absolutely HATE the one in my 135i. I feel like I'm in an early 90's Corolla. I don't care if it adds 5-10 lbs.

I love the quirky look of the 1 series. Don't care if it's ugly...it's a design that somebody took a chance with. It's daring and for the most part looks great

Personal choice, Roundel.
The look of the 1er, imo, shits all over most other daily drivers anywhere. |

Sometimes the fastest way between 2 points is not a straight line.

I actually like the look of the 1 series. It looks a lot better irl than in the pics (I think it's the whole flame surfacing, convex/concave thing).
My favorite cars exterior-wise in the BMW line up is the 1 series, the Z4 and the E92. The rest are okay, a bit plain looking. |

I agree. The 3 series is nice and elegant but its too bland for my specific tastes.
