M3 rear upper guide link install question

I'm planning to install M3 front control arms and M3 rear upper guide links and M3 rear upper wishbone arms.

I know for the front control arms you load the suspension to ride height before you torque down everything.

My question is, after installing the M3 REAR upper guide links and rear upper wishbone arms do you have to load the rear suspension before you torque everything or do you just leave it hanging down?

Thanks in advance for any assistance.

It needs to be at normal ride height, but I just use a floor jack to raise up the suspension to the right hight and torque the bolts. That way you don't add extra twist into the rubber bushings.

That's what I did. Pretty easy install. Did have to go buy some extra tools to get in there. But nothingspecial. Easily found at your local harbor freight.

Been thinking about doing the M3 rear control arms. Did the front arm and rear subframe bushings last year.

Are you running on stock springs and dampers?

OK, that makes sense. Thanks

I'm also upgrading to M3 subframe bushings and installing Apex EC-7's with PSS tires. Can't wait to pull it out of the garage this spring!

For now I'm running stock springs and dampers. It's an 08' E88, with 29,000 miles on it. In the future I'll swap them out.

I pretty sure the vert has different springs than the E82 due to the additional weight........being stock, my car appears to sit a little lower than others.
