N55 and Catless Downpipe - Will N54 Midpipe Reduce Cold Start Sound?
So I am looking and picking up a dp for my 2013 soon. I've been watching a bunch of vids and reading threads and all that. Everything I came across says the sound is amazing once warmed up, but cold starts are horrendously loud.
Ok..so, I leave my house at 6am to go to work. I think I am ok to increase the sound a bit and not be overly obnoxious when leaving for work since I live in a neighborhood with lots of modified pickups, but I think that cold start sound I keep hearing will be too much. I also keep reading that n54 midpipes that have the cat will reduce the smell a lot after going catless on a n55. But will they also reduce the sound a little too? |

Just install mhd once it's officially released and enable cold start delete feature.

I have an N55 with catless DP and BMW PE and the cold startup is loud but only for about minute. If you have a stock muffler it should be a little quiter.
