clunk noise when DSC comes on
It's only happened 2 or 3 times. It seems to happen when making a right turn from a stop and I accelerate enough for the DCS to flash and sometimes I hear a loud "clunk" from the rear end. It sound like the right rear. It doesn't happen ever time as I've tried to reproduce it. I don't think it's suspension parts, but I dunno. I have protools and it hasn't thrown a code. Anyone have similar experiences, any ideas where to begin looking?

Stock diff?
Could be axles if you can hear it clunk quietly when turning especially backing up. Mine got super noisy over 75k miles.

Thanks guys,
I don't think they're brakes, but I'll check. Stock diff. They don't clunk in reverse. It only happened a couple of times, no codes in protools, and seemed to be from a stop, accelerate hard (enough to glimps the DSC flash) as I'm turning right. I'll try tomorrow to reproduce it with a lot of right turns. Axles? Suspension parts? |
