Blackline Tail lights installed on my 128i cabrio!
Featured on BIMMERPOST.com As you can see from the photos, they were very well packed. So far, they have been completely plug and play. The tail lights bolted right in with three bolts on each side, and two connectors, one for an outboard lamp and one multi connector. I have not had any errors on the BC, and did not have to do any coding to make these work. They came very well packaged. The entire box was bubbled wrapped and each tail light was individually wrapped as well. Right-Hand light assembly partially unpacked. Gorgeous! The back of an assembly. There are only two connectors. Comparison of old and new! Rear Fog light illuminated Tail light and turn signal Tail lights illuminated. Can't wait to see what they look like at night! |

Sonicbimmer19, how old is your car? From what I can tell, these tail lights work fine on cars with updated Frm3 lighting modules. Not sure when that happened, but certainly on cars built in 2010, like mine.
Even if they won't work perfectly, once installed, you could always code the face lift setting using NCSExpert. |

The only thing I have found so far is that when the fogs are on, the brake lights act differently than when they are off. Not sure if this is a coding issue (also not a big deal)
Overall, they are great. Look fantastic and are quite bright at night. |
