New member Space Gray DCT 135i

I just picked up a 2011 PPK Space Gray with DCT this past Wednesday and I love it. I have a turbo miata as toy and I made a promise to myself not to mess with the 135i, but I've been looking JB4 too much. I must restrain haha

Anyway here are some pics

Restrain from modding... that's what they all say.

Welcome to the forum. Enjoy your new ride.

Looks great! Congrats.

My previous car was a 2006 MX-5 (NC), and it was (is) a fantastic car. Would have kept it if I had room for it.

Welcome!
Enjoy the car for what it is and keep it stock, for now (except for exhaust-aftermarket exhaust will make you enjoy the car more, trust me).
When the honeymoon wears off (and it might take a while) THEN get a more aggressive tune.

Don't start modding. It only grows and gets worse!

Thanks all, I'm definitely enjoying the car a lot! As for modding, yeah it's a slippery slope haha... on that subject I have come across some COBB and JB4 threads and have visit both sites. I'm curious, did COBB pull out of the market? I couldn't find anything currently for sale for N55.

Also, anyone in Michigan near Bloomfield Township?

Cobb only supports the N54 and early N55 (MY 2011 and early-build MY 2012). At that point BMW made some changes that made flashing via AP impossible, and Cobb was unable to support from that point on. I am sure someone else can provide more specifucs on what changed if you are interested, but basically if your car was built in 2012 or later, Cobb is not an option.

Looks like it was build pre-2012 so I guess Cobb is an option. Thanks!
