Ace Performance in Tewksbury?
Anyone have experience with them? I'd like to put in a modified CDV and they're close to home. I know I can do it myself (in theory) but I know my strengths and doing this isn't one of them.
Thanks.

never heard of them
cdv is seriously easy. can't honestly say i did mine completely....maybe 25% me, 75% larry....hell, the hardest part was taking all those stupid screws out to get the underbody panels off if you can change your own oil, you can handle the cdv

unless you get air into your brake fluid and have to bleed the clutch again.

Actually, you just need to understand that the clutch fluid reservoir is about the size of a thimble and that you cannot clearly see that it has drained compared to the level in the brake reservoir. The fluid level will need to be topped off at least three times for a complete bleed.

I know some of those guys. The shop is fairly new, but the guys have been working on BMWs for a long time. I know that Nick Pavloski is a BMW trained tech, gone private sector.
Btw, a CDV is about as simple a task as you could wish for, for just about any shop. |
