Dumb Question... what is mfest?

I have searched this on Google and I find how to go etc. But what exactly is it? Just a meet? What do you do there? It seems like you spend all this money to go and it does not provide much in return. You still have to pay for everything you do there. I hope I made since in my question and try not to laugh to hard at the noob. Thank you.

It's not really just a meet, it's a big community (online and offline) of like-minded BMW enthusiasts. The "meet" itself is really more than a simple meet, with lots of activities, dynos, drag strip set up, demos and clinics, etc. Also it's more than just a day long, like most meets are. Since it's primarily west coast, though, I've never been all that interested in it to be honest.

Just kidding man, MFest is just a gathering of BMW nuts and enthusiasts along some hot girls, hot cars and vendors. It's like a HUGE meet/event over the weekend sometimes BMW will show up with one of their latest products and stuff. Looking for a return at M Fest is liking expecting a return after a visit to a Strip club, you just go there to enjoy yourself and for the experience.

FYI A lot of caravans for MFest leave from LA and SD, you might want to get on one of the MFest threads and see if theres one near you!

lol, damn i missed the start of this thread.

Mfest is Not a meet..... it's an EVENT.

the Only weekend Long, BMW M Started, annual (once a year) event like mentioned above Offering Drag strip fridays, saturday track day, pool party sundays all in Las Vegas, NV

This will be my 2nd year going ( Caravaning from Central Texas ) and its fun. nothing Like a one day, parking lot style meet that take place all over the country.

there are ALOT of things that go down in Vegas, be smart and stay away from the things that are not for you like I do not drink or party all night anymore so i don't go for the drinking and partying i go for the track and drag with my forum buddies that live on the other side of the country.

I Can't wait for MPact to be a weekend event jammed packed with shyt we love to do all weekend Long so i can have a better excuse to visit my fam on the east coats ;-)

check http://www.mfestforum.com/forum/index.php

any Mfest questions, please do not hesitate to ask.

Rico

the MFEST family is down. Chris (the founder of MFEST)'s dad just passed away from battling cancer. Chris was always a great guy to talk to, ask for advice and randomly txt, he has built an event of epic proportions and deserves our deepest sympathies for those who attend MFEST.
