creating a brake kit with the cayenne brembo caliper is no more convenient on an audi than a bmw. VAG group cars do not share bolt patterns; audis are 5x112, while porsches are 5x130. the rotors in the ECS audi kits are made/sourced specifically for the kit, just like they'd have to do for our cars (along with the caliper brackets and misc. other pieces).

please google this kind of thing if you're not certain. the cayenne and touareg are both 5x130, not 5x112. the european touareg is 5x120 iirc, but again, not 5x112, and that's irrelevant anyway. see my post above. the caliper is the only substantial part of the cayenne braking system being reused in these kits.

lets get this back on topic... has anyone made any progress securing a set of the brackets in the first post? i'd really love to get a pair of these, and don't want to see this just slip through the cracks.

price, oem part (some people like me like this), and increased diameter. cross drilled rotors aren't ideal for track use... they cool better than slotted rotors (all things being equal), but could suffer a marginally higher failure rate (though to be fair, i haven't heard of any failures in these zcp rotors)

She said she scooped up 2 sets from the guy for 200 euro a set. I figured I'd scoop another set just incase this was the only opportunity to get them.

three posts in a row.
do you guys think these rotors would work? http://www.racingbrake.com/Two_piece...tio_p/2102.htm they are the E46 M3 ZCP rotors from RB. i assuming since the oem rotors bolted up, the RB's would be the same story. too bad the are 100 bucks more for 7 mm's. they are 30m wide though, while stock is 26mm. might not bolt up with brand new pads. |

partly from learning that replacement rings for the RB setup are essentially the same price as a new pair (including hats), i've been growing disenchanted with the RB solution. if they were to sell replacement rings for something less than a slap in the face, i'd give them a little more thought, but for now the adapter and BMW 2-piece rotor is a much more appealing solution to me.

I've read thru this and I'm still a little confused. Going back to the OP, can we get these caliper bracket and rotors and will it behind the OEM 18" wheels??

You cannot get these to fit behind oem wheels...you'll need a spacer at least or aftermarket wheels with a correct offset.
FYI i'm working on making some of these brackets here stateside to work with the e92 m3 rotors which are larger than these. e82 rotors are 338mm, the ones he's using are 345mm...and i'm going to put in 360mm rotors

Something like that but possibly with a cheap caliper upgrade

decided to cancel the order. 200 euro a piece wasnt worth it to me for just 7mm more, and the inability to run 2 piece rotors was a deal breaker.
