This thread is the greatest, I can picture dealers wondering why so few people getting a 1M are not getting the extended warranty on such a rare car .

This is pretty amazing. 100 people with interest. Even if only half of us take it, it will be huge for the winning dealer. I wonder if any of the other forums have don this.

This is some great stuff. Whats the verdict?
I understand BMW offers this but keep in mind they maybe using an insurance carrier for the warranty and possibly the maintenance but unlikely. If BMW does not ante up with a program, I can possibly and easily capture a program as I am an insurance broker specializing in special programs. I actually know the insurance companies who has the market share within the automotive industry related to dealerships. With that said, if you folks are truly interested and can find a carrier willing that may have an existing relationship with BMW or possibly negotiated a deal would you folks be opposed to having a third party offer a program? Most third party carriers offering this program, most will provide more flexibility on where to go for any warranty related work, such as your mechanic who fits their guidelines. Just a thought as i just barely signed up on here to look for extended warranty info for my e90 and possibly a used 135 i'm currently looking to buying. Whom ever is the person shopping around and interested on having me look into please send me your info and we can discuss. I'm confident I can find a carrier who can possibly provide better rates and coverage for the warranty. Thanks Jeff |

Im actually progressing much quicker than I anticipated.
I will need a more direct way to get a hold of everyone who has signed up. I have created an email (bmwgroupbuy AT gmail DOT com). If everyone could please email me there and in your subject line just put the number from the list (double check the list on the 1st post numbers have changed as people dropped out) that correlates to your username. This way I can make a mailing list and directly contact everyone when necessary. Just to be clear, I am not a business. I have always been involved in online automotive groups, especially smaller groups like the 1M group. I set this up to only help us as a group of M owners. Your email address will not be sold or distributed to anyone in any way. I am only using it to directly contact you in regard to this particular group buy.
