1M Die Cast Model? - BMW 1 Series Coupe Forum / 1 Series Convertible Forum (1M / tii / 135i / 128i / Coupe / Cabrio / Hatchback) (BMW E82 E88 128i 130i 135i)

So I've seen this 1/43 scale 1er M Coupe model here on a collector's site.

I've collected the following information:

Maker: HotWorks
Part #: 80 42 2 211 917

However I cannot find this model on their website or anywhere else online. I, and a lot of other members of the community, would surely be appreciative if anyone can help track these down. I've done about 30 minutes of Googling to no avail, lol.

From what I've heard, should be coming to dealers this summer.

Going to Germany next week so will see if it is something I can source locally there.

I got one at the festival of speed - only 10 coming to the UK? Don't know why the base plate does say limited edition

Was it from a stand or a concession? Do you have a contact name/company?

Rarer than the car itself, bizarre.

Wonder if they'll be for sale with 80% markup. LOL.

The model was made available to order thru BMW dealers in mid June. But the production has been delayed. I have one on order - but my dealer doesn't know when it will come. Just that it has been ordered.

I think the cost of the 1:43 scale 1M model in VO is: 59 euros. Same price as the 135i model of that size. I'll let you guys know when I have mine!

It looks like the typical production timelines for 1/43 cars has slowed considerably for some reason - case in point, the 1er M coupe, most of the minichamps range including the scheduled 2011 release of a 1/43 z3 M coupe in dakar yellow, and the 1/43 Spark M3 GTS Koons Art Car.

I too confirmed with U.S. dealers that these models are unavailable stateside but I haven't seen many come up on ebay.de or other international auction sites.

I went to the Welt they couldn't even order it for me. They said i would have to keep calling and try my luck.

ANY German dealer/Zentrum can order you these models. For you guys outside the states perhaps try that BMW dealer up North .In Denmark, Scniedermann...

I've had a look on the link you have included on a previous link but there is no 1M Coupe in orange only a 135i Coupe. I got mine at the BMW Stand at the Goodwood festival and they said they were making a limited number world wide (Can't remember exactly) and he said only 10 were coming to the UK? Don't know if this is correct but usually they don't put limited edition on the bases but I could be wrong - let hope so as I think anyone that bought a 1m should be able to get hold of one.

Indeed, everyone that got a 1M should be able to get a die cast one however look at the limited edition print. Only a third of the owners could get one of those. Slightly different case for a mass manufactured "toy" but you get the idea.

I have ordered at my local BMW dealer in Vienna and they said that it will take 2-3 weeks to deliver. There is only VO in color.

I'm sure you can order in any dealer but it will take some time to get it.
