Windshield Tint At Top?

After having the lovely fortune of taking a large chunk of truck tire tread to the windshield recently, I've had it replaced. The very reputable collision repair shop that I took it to replaced it and the work is impeccable. They replaced the glass with OEM glass, complete with the BMW logo and everything. However, I can't seem to remember if my windshield had that blueish tint at the top originally. The new windshield is clear from top to bottom.

So, what does your 1 have? Tint, or no tint?

And should I even be bothered if it doesn't? Really my main concern is resale value down the road...you know...in the unforeseeable event that I would actually part with this car...

That and functionality.

Mine has tint. But it is a pretty fully loaded car. Not sure if that makes a difference.

Yes, our 2009 135i coupe had no tint when delivered.
However, we were hit with a rock from a passing car that resulted in a 4" crack, so we had the window replaced w/ insurance coverage (not installed by a BMW dealer).
The new window is tinted at the top, but otherwise is the same as far as I can tell.
Having a new window after 7K miles of miscellanous minor chips, etc. was real nice.
I like the tinted version better myself.
Looks nice.
I think a "low rider" like the 135i really picks up lots more window nicks in routine driving compared to my Honda Pilot.

Thanks for the feedback all. So it looks like it's pretty much divided between yes and no. Sounds like nothing to really worry about either way.
