is there any reason i cant start a new thread? every time i want to or even post anything the message field is grey and i con only put the title in not a message body?

Is this on a netbook or mobile phone/app? ie not a laptop or desktop?

dave. IT wont let me pm either the box is just gray i can type in what i want to say but then when i go to send is says,
1.The message you have entered is too short. Please lengthen your message to at least 1 characters.
the only box i can type in and send are the quick reply boxs and title. this is on my desk top so its not an app.
