11's are definitely possible (its only 0.006 less), but I do think it will be harder than everyone thinks!

Even looking on Dragtimes cars running street tyres are in the 11.9XX bracket, so everything will need to be perfect to do it

11s are coming... drag radials will ensure that. Who will get there first?? Justin is not returning for a couple weeks still, and his car with DRs should be a certainty for 11s (he has the trap speed advantage by far). Given that Wednesdays seem to be the day when people go out, that just leaves next Wednesday for someone to beat him to it!!

Here's my timeslip. Weighed my car at the scrutineering bay and a wopping 1625kgs (car only). That's a heavy little 1er. The guy next to me in the Rocket lane was in a AU falcon 4.0 naturally aspirated and he thought he was gonna smash me. Tried to explain we're not racing each other, we're racing to better our times.

Agreed! I remember last time I went out I couldn't best my first time of the night. You're so close though, I'm sure you'll get it next time

It won't be me! I'd love to see some crazy numbers from Justins car, the trap speed is up there with the top 5 or 6 cars on drag times.

That's an awesome time Edwin. I think if you could easily shave off at least 0.2-0.3 if you didn't have as much weight.

Edwin, make sure you sit in your car on the weighbridge to get an accurate raceweight (car plus driver as it is raced).

Thats a pretty good time considering the extra weight Edwin. I am curious to know why all of our trap speeds seem a little on the low side or am I expecting too much with a 116 - 117?

2009 BMW 135i  [2.88]
Mine was due to low boost in 3rd and 4th gear. Felt so slow! Although it is amusing launching later than the guy next to you then just reeling them in and passing them at the end :-D

If I can do 112mph with boost of 10-12psi, then when I've sorted out the meth issue and doing 15psi surely I should be around the 115mph mark.

I agree Richard, the reel in is alot of fun. Hurry up and get that meth sorted mate. 15psi??? I was boosting to 18psi and tapering down to 15psi just before 6700rpm. I think I need to shift quicker from 2nd to 3rd and not wind it out as much.
Will throw a log up tomorrow showing some bad ass boost.

Maybe in Australia but I don't like my chances of taking on the world. It's quite rare to see fully modded verts. I bought this car cause I thought I was over my modded STI's and GTRs but i guess i'm just not.
Told a few guys at the track last night that it's just a diesel and that it's the wife's car, should have seen the look on there faces especially one guy that was in the lane next to me in a WRX. Reeled him in hard.

Yeah i would have got a coupe, but decided to get a vert because i didnt want to mod anything anymore (for a while) lol.

Fixed my problem... When I put my tank back on the base the pipe from the tank to the pump was kinked... Was giving a code at 100% dutycycle. She's running like a dream now!
