Remember people this is still a beta tune, this review/preview or virtual dyno is by Clap135 not COBB. Believe it or not this virtual dyno has come pretty close to the real thing.

Yeah right lol. FMIC really helps out quite a bit especially when running higher boost. My stock FMIC was getting heatsoaked in no time with just a JB4 and catless downpipes. I had no choice but to upgrade it and it made all the difference in daily drivability. I still stand that I will just wait until I see some trap speeds. I don't even care about ET as that is all driver, but trap speed at the end of the 1/4 is a good indicator of how much power the car is putting down and its consistent (although it may differ 1-2mph depending on the 60ft). |

Reading comp>You
He said Catless DPs are greater than TBE. And a Virtual Boy Dyno has been known to put down some crazy accurate numbers. Sometimes, depending on who's running the software, makes the read low. And what dyno were those 1M numbers on? Graph please!

IIRC, the JB4 only makes over 400WHP with meth.

JB4 will make over 400whp on race gas or meth. I made 370whp on pump 93 with just a Helix intercooler, Raceland downpipes and JB4 on map 2 in hot ass Florida weather.

If the virtual dyno is so accurate then why using the same profile and weight does it tell me I'm making anywhere from 361whp to 470whp and almost 500wtq depending on which log I load, all same gear and parameters logged?

I think your power seems low , I heard Fbo with dci and 3 inch downpipes With full catless makes 400 whp??I saw some dynos doing this on YouTube and burger website..I think it makes over 430 with race and meth.

I know for most open-source tuning for the Subaru-Mitsu community, a lot of tuners use the Virtual Boy. And from what I've seen VS. actual dyno numbers, it's pretty accurate. I guess there are a lot more factors to enter?

The one from this thread which is from bradbarnhill.com
I know there are others and they do seem to work well, I've just seen wildky varying results from this one

I'm impressed with the data I see with regards to intercooler upgrades.
Give this a careful read: http://cp-e.com/sites/default/files/files/n54FMIC.pdf Turbo charge outlet temperatures start to shoot up past 14psi and especially at higher RPM. The turbos really add a lot of heat in those conditions. It's already kinda ugly at 12 psi. Our motors already like to fall off in power at higher RPM. Lots of top end to be picked up there. I hope the FMIC is part of stage 2.

370-380whp on a dynojet is typical for a bolt on car depending on conditions. Show me one plot on pump gas making over 400whp on a dynojet and I'll give you a cookie. Hell, you can even browse the dyno compilation on e90post.com and see for yourself. You won't crack the 400whp with a jb4 or procede unless you run race gas or meth.
