I've just been told that my 1M, due for production this week, isn't going into production until next week. Also that after production, expect a three week wait until it turns up at the dealers

I'm not the most patient of people haha.....

I guess buying bits for my car kinda makes up for the fact that I don't have it yet. Even though it was ordered in early June and even more so that the guys in America appear to be having their orders moved forward.....guess I've been bumped for a yank

Chris think yourself lucky I've got to wait until Dec 2nd for mine and I ordered in June as well. I'm told though the orange ones are put together better than the rest and therefore take a while longer to be built. What other bits you bought then?

Decemeber 2nd??!?! What?!?!? Ok, I'll not moan any more then. That's crazy. Why such a long wait?

Oh I've not ordered much. Went out and bought some BMW performance pedals, ordered the black grills as well. I've also got some LUX Angel Eyes and will add the mats on assuming everything is OK with you getting them made.

I dont know, originally told October when I ordered, then end of Nov and now beginning of Dec. Might be late coming cos of the Sierra Cosworth type spoiler I've specced to go on the back window, bit like the white one on here from Singapore

Back on topic:
Seems everyone wants as near to OEM as poss. I cant wait to see how they look once finish.

How can I find out 'Production week'? Is it just a case of calling the dealer? Anyone know anyone else being quoted Jan for delivery?

Apart from the mats, any other 'must haves' to sort before?

I picked my 1M up last week (having been without it for a couple of wks) and have been blown away (yet AGAIN) by this little machine.

Such a blast to drive!!! Running in service due now (being picked up by transporter on Monday) so feel a bit gutted it's going away again but this has definitely been one of my best car choices in a long time !!
