LSC BMW CCA Fall HPDE at Motorsport Ranch Cresson,TX 10/8-9,2011

We will be back at Motor Sport Ranch again, October 8-9 2011.

We had over 70 at the spring HPDE and we need that amount again.
We will run the event on the 1.7 course running CLOCKWISE.. ALTHOUGH IF WE CAN INCREASE THE NUMBER BY AT LEAST 20 WE WILL DO THE 3.1 FULL COURSE COUNTER CLOCKWISE..DID I GET YOUR ATTENTION? I DID SAY THE 3.1 ITS NOT A TYPO. Numbers will dictate the track length we are able to run.

Advanced students will be $220.00
Intermediate and Novice will be $295.00

Direct Registration Link:http://www.motorsportreg.com/index.c...B78D616E9596C6

This is NOT a racing school but rather a safe, driver’s education event, conducted on a closed track under close supervision of experienced instructors that will be in your car with you. You will learn how to handle and control your vehicle at speeds not normally attained on public roads. It will allow you to explore your capabilities as a driver and those of your vehicle. It will also help make you a better driver and to prepare you for emergencies in normal everyday driving.

The event is open to all drivers 18 years of age and older and all makes of cars. It is not a "BMW only" event. All cars and drivers will be subject to the same safety and inspection requirements. You will be required to take your car to a mechanic within one month of the event. There is a tech inspection form that you must bring with you to the event that the mechanic information and signature must be on that sheet. If you have not had this tech inspection done, there will be no provision to have this done at the event and you will not be allowed to run nor will you be given a refund.

All registration will be handled online for this event. We anticipate filling up quickly, so register promptly! Registration does not guarantee acceptance. Cancellations will be allowed up to 2 weeks before the event without penalty less any credit cards fees incurred. Cancellations within 2 weeks of the event will be allowed a credit towards a future event less a $75 administrative fee.

Questions

1. Do you need 90+ cars to get the full course?
2. It is a two day event how much track time do we get to drive full force?

Going to Eagles Canyon tomorrow, wanting to try out Cresson but I am not clear on what track time you get in a two day event for 300$. The version I've been told was one day classroom the second day some "spirited driving". What's your take on it?

Four run sessions a day, with an assigned instructor.. ... There is also classroom time as well... the classroom sessions are geared differently for the different levels (beginner, intermediate, advanced, uber advanced) of instructed groups.

The HPDE is quickly approaching!

If 5 or more cars from this group register, we will offer a 10% discount to all in that group.

There's no time to waste!

"Spirited Driving" is how I drive to the grocery store. You will be able to take your car to it's adhesion limits at speed, and if you're not careful, you could exceed them.

There are classroom sessions after your scheduled track times. You will have four scheduled track times per day. 20 minutes per session, so you'll get 80 minutes on Saturday, and 80 minutes on Sunday.

You will not leave, and think to yourself that you didn't have enough time on track.

Here is a video of MSR's 1.7 in the clockwise direction.
