Rear Deck Spoiler Options for 1M
I am looking for members' input regarding the various rear spoiler options for our cars. I am leaning towards the CF Performance model but have a VO 1M and wonder whether the combination will look the part. Has anyone installed this spoiler on a VO yet and is willing to post images?
Can anyone recommend any non-OEM brands that offer similar quality? I came across EVA Tuning with a Performance CF spoiler that is identical to the OEM model, but I have no experience with their products. Finally, has anyone played with orange tint vinyl wrap over the CF spoiler to better match the car? The transparent film has an orange hue and is used for headlights....I wonder if it would provide a nice shade of orange when overlayed on CF....thanks. |

I think the overlay would look odd, I'm curious to see how the CF looks on the VO. With a matching lower diffuser i think it could be pulled off.
Another option (although more costly) is always the CSL style trunk. |

I believe a fellow member from Montreal posted his VO with the BMW Perf CF spoiler, back in June IIRC. Do a quick browse. Looked good IMO. If the color bothers you, you can alway paint it body color.
I love what Harold at HPA did with his 2-sided CF CSL style trunk - it was painted in body color except for an exposed CF strip at the tail end. While it was on an AW, I think that would look hawt on a VO.

I went with the Jlevi plastic version since it's light as it is. It's being painted AW as we speak and I should have installed pics soon. I did buy it used so hopefully fitment is good.

Looks absolutely awesome, HKG!!! If I tell you I have the same exact parts lying boxed up in my living room awaiting to be installed (Performance CF spoiler, CF mirror caps, black sidemarkers, and black grills). Friday PCD can't come quick enough! In the meantime I'll be watching these photos and thinking of what it'l be like

Turner sells a CF spoiler that looks like the OEM part for half the price. They also sell the OEM part so you can look at both.
