I just removed my stock spoiler. My CF spoiler and CF caps for my mirrors are on the way, I should have them next week! Will post pics of that as soon as I have them installed.
Here are a couple of pics I took today after the stock spoiler removal on my BSM 1M.

Thx mate, looks great, best and cleanest rear end look IMO

This forum rocks!

Could I ask the spoiler changing members for a shot taken from the side of the car with the trunk at eye level so as to get a profile shot of the de-liped trunk. Perhaps a pic series stock, de-liped, and final result taken with the same perspective can yield all posters the most informed feedback on claims of esthetic improvement

I thought of taking pics of my de-lipped car but then forgot. Here's a side pic with the BMW spoiler installed. Not VO but...

I am having the delivery on Friday (a VO) but I had the chance to see a VO in flesh back in July and when I walked around that car, as I suspected, I really thought the original lip spoiler and the chrome looking front grille have to go. I have black gloss performance grills and a also a pedal set (the inox ones which match with the foot rest very good not the alu. ones) to be installed hopefully before the delivery and I am trying to order a set of IND gloss side markers with super light tint to finish the exterior, minor "corrections".

The spoiler is for me the most difficult issue because I am not a spoiler type! But I am also not totally OK with the spoiler delete on 1M and I really liked what MusclezMarinara did with that CF spoiler including a touch of VO paint, and before that I was liking Denso's solution with his 2 tone CF spoiler on his AW. I don't know anyone with a VO here who did the opposite of what Denso applied: a CF with 2 tone but this time CF part would be on top and painted part facing back (so the 3rd brake light will continue to appear less which I want to keep that way, cause with CF there is too much contrast right there), maybe painted part covering the edge as well. I need to see it of course but I have no photo shopping skills and would like to hear some comments who already thought about possible rear spoiler options.

How much is a 1M in Lima?

And, is it now safe to own a nice car in Peru? I know that 10 years ago it was dangerous.

That's the factory optional spoiler. He had the VO stripe added to it. You can order it through any dealer.

For those that have installed the BMW rear spoiler, did you use the tape or glue options to attach it with?

Thinkbig,
The MSRP for the 1M in Lima is $72K but I paid $69K. All the ones that are coming to Peru (about 20 I believe) are fully loaded except the first few which were fully loaded except for the electric seats.
It is never safe to have a nice car anywhere....but I know what you mean....things are very different today than 10 years ago....there are a loot of nice cars around Lima nowadays....but you still need to be careful.
