Methanol kits
Hey guys what do you think is the best meth kit to run with a flash tune? Not many people have talked about this but i have had use with jb4 meth kit and integration. Now that ive switched to a flash tune i wanted a really nice meth kit that would have its own controller but still be progressive with raising boost as meth is spraying.
I was considering aquamist\'s kit but aem could also be a choice. Has anyone used meth with a flash tune yet or can you help me get one setup with my ess flash tune thanks |

Well any of the meth kits out on the market right now could be run on the car as a standalone option, you would just need to run a more aggressive map to take advantage of the meth. It's just that since you're running a flash tune there wouldn't be an failsafe integrated into the tune, there simply currently isn't a way to feed the failsafe signal to the tune; Should meth fail you'll be in bit of trouble.
The only case where I've seen a flash with failsafe was by stacking a JB4 with the flash tune of your choice. The basic gist of how that worked was the flash tune would be set to a basic pump gas map and the JB4 would be responsible to raising boost above that level based on meth flow and failsafe feedback. Instructions on how to do this is posted on another forum.

As stated above, the only 'safe' way I've seen is by stacking. Here's the thread:
