the only thing that I can't decide is that if I would spend that sort of money for a second hand car or would i spend that money for a Golf R new car. Different class I know but Same sort of league, isn't it?

Bruno, it feels the same as it did when it had 5000kms on it. Honestly, it depends on the driver. I don't have any creaks/squeaks and the engine is as smooth as it ever was. I think you will find most 135's are like that?

To be honest, It all depends on the owner of the car and how is it kept. I've got a 120d which is an 08 model and it's done 126 k's now but it still feels solid and new. I went for a drivers training recently and she asked me is this car new? I nope her no and she was very suprise.
So it's all up to the owner and how well it's kept. I clean my interior every week and put leather conditioner every month. I'm a clean freak for my car only and only my car :P |

And I can vouch that this car is always kept very well maintained. I can't recall a time when I've ever seen it in desperate need of a clean, and mechanically it gets very well looked after.

yup!.. hehe tis a great car... bought it and drove it back to Melb.. absolutely zero issues.
LSD is great, however i'm use to LSD's though, so not too sure what a non-lsd 130i feels like, but its fairly progressive, to me it locks a lot slower than my previous, but at least it does lock. |

The Golf is more fun to drive and feels zippier, but the BMW is much more of a luxury car. Your 120D is one of the fastest Diesels there is man! Move up to a 135i! |

Lol yea i know what ya mean !! but one is new and one is second hand. a 335 will be ideal for me but it's still expensive yet it's like a 5 year old car already. The 120d is lacking of something !! dunno what is it. I recently got my 18 inch wheels it has no wheelspin at all form the start!! but i think it's the lack of refinement that the petrol engine has.... I would love to have the 330d and chip it up but it's more expensive then the 135i secondhand !! the price is still holding! |

Hey Bruno,
I recently looked at trading my 130i in (July 2011) and the best price that I got for my 130i was $22000, lowest was $12000. I promptly laughed and just turned and walked away with the sales person following me, I said don't bother. Most insurers won't even insure a 2006 130i for more than $36000. Mind you my car did have 115 000kms at the time now its at 130k kms. I paid $50k from Westside BMW for my 50000km 130i 3 years ago. In any case Good luck with the sale. Let us know how you go. |
