I must've missed your delivery thread Ian- congrats on the new car! Seems not that long ago you were only deliberating about selling your 135! I'm sure the wait was worth it!

Oh, and yes, folding mirrors does get the ladies' attention bwahaha! Props to Luster

Nice one Ian..

We will have to give them a side by side showdown at the Dyno Day on the 25th, unless we catch up earlier..

I went for a morning drive to PITS, had a pie, sausage roll and coffee, then a short drive down the Old Pacific Hwy..

Cool, plenty cops that way too. Enough photo shoots, should organize a drive in a few weekends time perhaps.

The car continues to amaze me with its sublime handling & performance.... simply breathtaking... my pulse rate certainly escalates big time

When you open the box and see how high quality the product is and the fact that OEM materials were used (which also push up the price) you will see the value in it. I don't think any improvements can be made to the quality.

Plus you can't put a price on the values it measures, maybe a whole engine replacement in an extreme scenario

I reinstalled my charge pipe the other day, started up the car and noticed straight away the there was a massive boost leak somewhere - according to my P3 gauge. Popped the hood and realised I forgot to reconnect my boost vacuum line! Simple mistake but huge consequences, especially if I didn't pick up on it for a while.

This gauge has saved me from my own foolish mistakes many times, I'm glad I have it.

BMW Electronic PW is too $$ and looks aftermarket and clumsy. Lights up like an Xmas tree. Also heard that the Alcantara does wear well.

My electronic wheel (version 1), only lights up like a xmas tree at startup or when I'm nearing redline. Alcantara still looks like new too. "Clumsy" matches the way I drive.

I saw a very worn performance steering wheel that was less than 6 months old.

The wheel certainly did not age very gracefully and frankly looked like shit.

It was an older style wheel that also needed to be manually powered on, on car startup.
