I tried replacing my D1S bulbs. I did the driver side ok but now I'm on the passenger side and I can't get the plastic back headlight cover back on. If anyone is in the area and can help me put it back on I'll pay for your time

Fully lock the steering wheel to one side. You will see a small hidden access panel in the wheel arch which you can undo with a coin and access to close the plastic cover properly.
