i am looking to chip my 2008 135i and i wanted to know which one to get.
which one is better? more reliable? more power?

I've had both. Jb4 is a better bang for the buck and has more options for tunning. If you get a Cobb and don't want to run one of their off the shelf maps then your going to have to pay another 500$ on top of the 900$ base price. 500$ for a custom tune. Plus when I compare the Cobb stage 2+ aggressive to jB4 map 2 I can't tell a difference.
