I think I've posted this question before but what product are you using in the engine bay? Are you pressure hosing it and then applying something on it to give it that shine? You can PM me if you like.

And yes, once things are properly covered (alternator, electrics, etc) you can pressure wash the engine bay. Takes a bit of care. |

Thanks for the tips mate. I'll give it a go next time. I've used a bit of degreaser before but never followed up with vinyl protector.

Rosso Corsa Ferrari F355 GTS - Stage 3 Paint Correction & The Works! [IMAGE HEAVY]
Car: 1995 Ferrari F355 GTS
Service: Stage 3 Paint Correction, Leather Condition, General Interior Clean & Engine Bay Clean Comments: - A Ferrari will generally look shiny and clean, but an up close look will reveal otherwise – swirls, tar marks and scratches. This had them all. Not too bad for a 17 year old car, but still can’t hide with this paint! - Oxidised flat red paint needed more depth - The wheels were heavily soiled mainly brake dust and some stains beneath the clear coat. - Leather interior had some marks and the carpets were stained in typical areas - The engine bay was looking tired too with many powder coated parts showing their age. - Check out the images to see the deep and glossy red paint at the end of the detail and the how the interior should look on an M5. It was an interesting morning with part overcast/sunlight skies so we couldn’t capture the wet look 100%, but you get the idea! - Rosso Corsa red is a fantastic colour with excellent results. The owner couldn't be happier with outcome ![]() Enjoy the photos - there are LOTS BEFORE: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

TWD - Black Mercedes Benz C63 AMG - Stage 3 Paint Correct & The Works! [IMAGE HEAVY]
Car: 2009 Mercedes Benz C63 AMG
Service: Stage 3 Paint Correction, Leather Condition, General Interior Clean & Engine Bay Clean Comments: - Paint felt like sandpaper and had medium swirls all over the car - Lots of tar build up on the bottom half of the sides - Minor holograms in certain light and just needed a deep clean to see the metallic flake in the paint again. - Mercedes Benz' Ceramiclear is fantastic. It's very hard, but very rewarding to work with, as you will find out in pictures below! - Once again, a happy owner with a car that looked like glass and felt super smooth! I realised I have no after photos of the engine bay or interior ![]() BEFORE: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
