SOLD! Hello all, I'm not set on a definite decision just yet, but due to coming changes/personal reasons I may contemplate the possibility of parting with my beloved ride. I'm just gauging interest at the moment. A few relevant points: - the car is flawless and unmolested. No tunes/no track time/no abuse, and nothing but extreme care. - please see signature for what's on the car/options, etc. - car recently turned 8500 babied miles on the clock. - I am not in a rush or immediate need to part with the car; what this means is please don't waste your time low-balling or criticizing my decision if I do decide to sell it. Serious inquiries only, please feel free to PM me for details. Here are some photo threads where my car can be seen: http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=635487 http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=619467 Last edited by 1SerieStud; 05-15-2012 at 07:27 PM.. |

hey man.YOU SHOULD KEEP IT !!!!!! I love my 135i and have found that the only car atm that i would trade in in for would be a Porsche Carrerra S in Black..My next car probably....if i stay with a 2 car plan as i have now. I drive a Honda CRV 2005 as my DD and it's a great vehicle for NJ and i take out my 135i on nice days and put about 6000 miles a year on it..I love the 2 car app[roach as my 1 stay's showroom new and is alway;s feels new and fresh because i do not drive it everyday...I no some feel you MUST drive the BMW daily as garage queens are for wussies..but i TOTALLY disagree...Having the 1M in the garage for special rides would be amazing...i wish i had one as i have found that the 135i and the 1M are such good cars that it would be a shame for you to give it up...If i could afford the payments i would of bought one..but what it would of cost me for the 1M i have 3 cars for the same monthly payment with insurance...the Honda, my wifes new Prius and the 135i....we are all happy and like my son tells me " Dad, no sense in trading in the 135i, it still drives and smells new....." I am staying with the 2 car approach and my 1 alway's feels fresh and special...when i drove it daily for a few months, it lost my interest a bit so.....KEEP the 1M !! I will be passing my 135i down to my son in the future...this car is a keeper.

Who knows, maybe the answer is to get something cheap (so that I don't mind it getting dirty/dings/scratches etc) and keep this baby in my garage...but that would do this car no justice! |

Believe me, it would do the 1M perfect justice... the 1M does not have to driven every day to justify it's existance...and it will feel even better than it does now coming from another car that is no where performance wise like the 1M. If money is not an issue than check out a older Honda CRV 2005 and up or a used Subaru..These cars hold up..(Honda is better with miles...cost less on upkeep than any car i have ever owned 162,000 miles and no issues) will get you through anything and use the 1M on nice days. You have nothing to loose as the Honda or the Subbie will alway's catch a great price on re-sale and the 1M will stay new... I would do anything i could to keep the 1M if i were you...it's that nice to me anyway..I find there is no point in taking a performance car out in the rain or snow or ice ..

Hey Etien - sorry to hear you may be parting with the 1M. Just wanted to let you know that if any prospective buyers need a reference on how meticulous you are with care for your vehicles, feel free to send them my way. I'm happy to give you a much deserved positive reference...my 135 (Your old 135) is still absolutely perfect, in part to your diligent care.

I can't imagine what life changing issues are going on when your single and in your 20's. Hope everything is OK...Truly sucks that your considering selling your baby. I'm from the school of driving a daily "POS" and keeping the 1m for fun.
