Does anyone do the factory 130i or 330i hardware?

So, per wikipedia,

The N52B30 is available in three versions, all displacing 3.0 L (2996 cc/182 in3). However, each version produces variable maximum output depending upon the application. With a common engine displacement, the output changes result from the omission of the variable resonance system, dual plenum intake runner system, and the variable back pressure muffler: 190 kW (255 hp) at 6600 and 300 N·m (221 lb·ft) at 2500-4000 rpm is the first and most produced version, while the second one is more powerful at 195 kW (265 hp) at 6600 and 315 N·m (232 lb·ft) at 2750-4250 rpm. The third version is just starting to replace the first 190 kW (258 PS; 255 hp) versions on the E90/E60 in late 2006 and has first been released on the new E92 330i Coupé. It will produce 200 kW (272 hp) at 6650 and 315 N·m (232 lb·ft) at 2750-4250 rpm.

Looking at real OEM, the euro 330i intake manifold is $550. Seems not prohibitively expensive. Seems like that, something exhaust side, and a tune should get you to 330i engine status, no?

Am I missing something?

The euro tuners can tune the DISA valve (inside the intake manifold) to get close to 330i/130i specs. I think 273 PS from what I remember. Trouble is that the tune is not cheap. Around 800 euros. I posted some dyno graphs on MS Tuning offering one such tune. Try searching for it.

Interesting. So why is the 330i intake manifold a different part number?

Not sure if euro 330 intake is different from euro 328/325.
Over at e90 post there are small gains documented with it, and a euro mod as a DIY to stock north American airbox.

The main performance boost is the Disa intake manifold that can be tuned by AA in USA and the euro tuners.
Next 130i has a different transmission gearing and maybe catalyc converters and a e87 spec exhaust that may be freer

First you need to source a DISA intake, its about 800-900 new,much less if used.
