Have you fellas got any pics of the glass? I'm still a bit 50/50, considering they're unlikely to be able to match the darkness. Will it look a bit funny? I see some later model liberty GT's with the rear windows darker than the front and to me it makes them look like chauffeurs' cars.

Matched, just go to non-dealer tint. OziCozi did my front windows with 3M... great work

Thanks for the photos! I've been quoted a fair bit for it since I've finalised the price already. Can tint provide the same amount of sun protection as that?

Well my 1M has arrived at the dealer, just counting down the days until I take delivery :-)

The fronts should be pretty cheap and don't let them con you into having films at the back. I have a 35% tint, and you can't tell it is lighter. My photos is in the official 1M sections.

So the short story behind this is X-BMW car bought by the dealership for 120k in an auction open only to dealers

Nah, it's all good Ian, "This car has been professionally run in, not exceeding the cars limits at any point in time."

Limits = Redline, 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th AND 6th gears
Limits = 250kph

My 1M is due to be built in the 1st week of May, at what point should i receive a chassis number / VIN, is it after production? and when can i start tracking the angry little car?

Once production is scheduled then there should be a VIN#. Mine had a VIN# about 3 weeks prior to completed production, prior to that there should always be a production # for allocated orders. Below is what I got 1st week of Dec, car finished production in 4th week of Dec.
