BMW Performance Suspension shot after just 30k?

I have had the BMW Performance Suspension on my '09 135i for about 2 years and about 30K miles and over the past couple of weeks I've noticed it getting more and more bouncy, mostly in the rear, and even a little "jiggly" (slight side to side motion in the rear over harsh surfaces at highway speeds). I had the M3 rear subframe bushing done at the same time as the PS install and I put on the front and rear M3 arms/rods (sans lower camber link) last summer and everything had been fantastic, but now I am sad again. Anyone else have a PS on for this long with this many miles? How is it holding up for you? I live in the Baltimore area and my car is a DD, and the roads are craptacular around here, and I drive like..., well you know, but still only 30k miles? I hope to hell the sub-frame bushings aren't going too, those bastards were costly to replace.

I live in Ellicott City, have M3 bushings, PS springs and Koni FSD shocks. My rear shocks started leaking after 25,000 miles. Koni replaced them since there's still a year left on the warranty.

Gary, do you think M3 bushings could be putting more strain on the shock or is this just a matter of bad luck / defects?

For shocks install, I recommend Induktion Motorsports. They are much less expensive than the other shops I've tried. They prefer for you to order the parts yourself from HPA Shop or **********s or whatever.

If you want a shop that will order the parts and then take care of warranty issues if they happen, At Speed Motorsports will do that.

Spitfire...the rear shocks are really easy to replace. Less than 1.5 to do total. You can do it yourself and save the $$

It's not really a question of whether or not they are under warrantee, I have a call in to my SA about that. I wanted to get a sense from other people as to their experience with the longevity of the PS shocks. In any case, I may take this as a sign that I should upgrade to the Koni Sports HPA has available. I may just get the adjustable rears as a test, since they are cake to replace. The only problem with that is they might be too mismatched with the PS struts up front, especially if they are shot as well, though the trouble seems to be mostly in the rear.

Thanks. I'd need lots of help and tools and a place to work on it.

But I can supply beer and pizza and make an afternoon of it with someone who has experience doing that exact job.....hint hint.

I can supply some tools...as far as a location all you need is a flat surface, a jack and a stand and we can get it done. If you like we can set up a time/date and I'll supervise/assist while you do it
