I like it. Could've went a shade darker, like this:

I'm going this route soon. Can't wait.

If you're a fan of BBS LM's in full Gold, then you're a fan of this BSM 1M! I love it!

No no no gazz. They've probably just gold plated it. Could do with a polish though, I've seen brighter teeth mummies.

Regarding the gold on black color concept.

First, to me, back in the 70s, the F1 Team Lotus had the coolest livery: John Player Special. Fond memories. As a kid, the CEO of one of the main investors (Luxembourg) behind the current F1 Team Lotus purchased with his first pocket money ...a Lotus JPS scale model car. Passion for F1, you know. Now, check the 2012 F1 Lotus livery (Lotus E20) and you'll know who promoted the idea.

Secondly, gold-colored wheels on a BMW.

Well, have a look at what could be "The Mother of all ///M cars" (nicknamed "Das Batmobil"), as on display in the BMW Museum. The grand-mother of the 1M was kinda wild thang, quite some time before the word "bling-bling" came into fashion. Many things have changed over the past decades, but BMW and BBS are still producing fine stuff.

with the McLaren I'll have to say the Lotus is the best looking chassis on the grid this year

Donald approved.

As a matter of fact I was in between a dark gold and gunmetal for my OEM's. I'll have to make up my mind by the time I put my winter wheels on.
