Does anyone know, or have fitted the 135i BMW performance exhaust on the 128i?

Im curious to know mostly for the axle back portion (muffler), and wanted to know if there were to be any adverse effects to installing the rear portion, or even the whole line. As visually both PE mufflers exteriors look identical. but have no idea if the internals are the same.

I don't think anyone has done this before, but I'm asking because I came across a pretty sweet local deal on a used 135i PExhaust.

I asked this before and never got a good answer but I believe it will work. You cut your exhaust pipe 8.2mm from the start of the weld on the muffler and remove it. Then you can compare side by side. Before hand, you'll have to buy a joining adapter that comes with the 128 PE. Either try from BMW or any muffler shop should be able to supply.

Must be an extremely good deal, because doesn't the 135i performance exhaust start 200 dollars more than the 128i? I just bought a brand new performance exhaust for 128 for 650 shipped, so just curious how much you save by going through the extra hassel.

Reason being is that the 135i performance comes with a y pipe. the 128i doesn't.

to OP, not sure if it would work or not. A turbo exhaust works different then an exhaust system for NA engines. I don't know any technical details cause I am a noob. If you are just replacing the muffler, it might work, but I have no idea as I don't know the insides of the muffler.

the 328i exhaust actually deletes the resonator. Look for 328i sound clips.
This could increase drone ve 128i PE and may require custom work.

Berk Axel backs have been modified to fit 128i an do sound mean
