Anybody at the 24h race at the Nü-Ring?
We'll take part in one of the support races on the 17th. If anybody's there, our paddock will be at the tourist entry and our pits are at T13 (we don't race the big circuit, just the pure Nordschleife).
Not sure if I'll take the 1M or if I'll convince my wife, that we need to take her 118i.   If you're there, just look for my princess... I'll probably be where she is.

I was thinking of driving up on Saturday afternoon/evening... just for a few hours to watch the race. I know how crazy that sounds.
Anyone know of a good (secret) parking spot? lol |

Hi guys.
Sorry, back home. Our race was on Thursday and we came home yesterday. We spent Wednesday and Friday looking around and are watching the race via live-stream and on TV right now. Just too much chaos for my taste. We had fun and a great race. P3 in class and P25 overall (out of 143). Not too bad, considering it was done with my old, slightly underpowered 325 (e36). My fastest lap that day (8:38): Just fyi: The Golf I am hunting runs in a super production class, whereas my car is stock. He has the smaller engine, but more power, bigger brakes and is lighter. I drive a BMW, that gives me the advantage. I love that track!
