2012 135i folding autodimming mirrors (Canada)

Hi all,

New poster/member here. My wife and I ordered 2012 135i last week with every single option box ticked (except the auto tranny - only 6 speeds for us!), but are unsure if the car has power folding autodimming exterior mirrors. I know the American models have it as an option in their premium package (I think it's option code 430), but I'm unsure if the Canadian model has either (for 2012). Our SA is convinced it has it, but we're not so sure.

Could any current Canadian 2012 135i owners confirm or deny this? Obviously, it's not a deal-breaker, as we absolutely LOVE the car, but we just don't want to get our hopes up unnecessarily.

My loaded 2008 has it . It was part of the Comfort package with auto dimming exterior mirrors. Not sure about 2012.

My 2009 has them, but we never use them.

Apparently, they haven't been offered in Canada since 2009, so I special ordered them. Don't really care about the power folding, but really wanted the autodimming function.

How much and what part number? Do you need to get a new switch/button for your driver side since the auto mirror requires you to push a button to use it?

$400 for the special order fee plus $500 for option code 430 (power folding autodimming mirrors). Because you only have to pay the special order fee once, we also added the smokers package (441) and auto-high beams (5AC) and compass mirror (4NA - the nav package usually deletes it, and we still wanted it).

The car is being built from scratch, so it will have the switch built in (just like the US spec model).

Car just arrived in Halifax, so we should have it by the middle/end of August!!!

Didn't know special order was an option otherwise I would've added the same features! Now I'm kinda kicking myself in the ass

I assume auto high beam means adaptive headlights.. My 2008 have all the options that you mentioned and it was not special ordered.

I guess BMW have changed the options available via the packages.
