Help! My black grille is fading to white!!!

Alright everyone, so I just cleaned my car yesterday and realized this white, faded-like looking mark on my grille. It wasn't there three weeks prior when I cleaned it last. Has this happened to anyone before? Is it normal for the grille to fade, it's only about two years old? I guess it's possible that I hit a giant bug, a rock flung up into it, or something corrosive got onto it, but for it to be in that lengthy of a shape and still be smooth as a baby's bottom... I think it's the fact that the grilles are just two cheap pieces of plastic that BMW sells for one hundred bucks! Does anyone have suggestions to bring the color back? Trust me it's not coming off, and it's not the paint from the car; there's no way since I haven't hit anything or rubbed the grille against the paint. I'm hoping I can just do a touch up so I don't have to buy a new right grille. Please, I will take any suggestions to save me the rape-age of BMW parts. Try using Back to Black....I think it is a product of Mother's but not sure

BMW parts warranty is 24 months. Still have your receipt?

Thanks gray I'm going to look into that, and Dack luckily I still have the receipt. My 24 months isn't up until November! I bought the grille parts at BMW in Heidelberg though and now I'm back in the U.S. Will that be an issue?

you can also use this product to repair the fading. I use it to restore the black areas on my car and it lasts much longer than back to black and others.
