Performance Friction 08 Compound for your E82 1M
PFC08 Compound is one of the PFC newest and have gained immediate favor in Endurance Sportscar, and GT racing due to its peformance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. 08 have a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation characteristics, and very low abraded disc wear. In addition to its considerable performance, 08 wears the longest of all PFC pads and easily matches wear of the other competitors with much higher bite.

I drove them 3 hours out of state for work this monday. Because they are full track pads there are no clips and no soft/rubber backing to them. The only time they squeal is with very light brake application at sub 7mph speeds and warmed up (ex. coming to a stop light). Its my understanding these squeal much less than the 01's and are much less abrasive on your rotors (In fact less abrasive than stock pads). You may be able to combat the squeal with CRC Brake Quiet if you follow the instructions and let it cure for 20 minutes before installing the pads. Personally, I can live with it until friday when I go to Lime Rock! ![]() All in all, GREAT deal on these sweet track pads and a GREAT vendor! |

I would assume it is possible because the pads have no backing, no clips, or anything else. Just the metal back of the pad and ears. They do fit snugly in the caliper once bolted back together, and although I wont be on the track until tomorrow morning, all week on the road they have not had any "rattle". They do squeal if you try and brake using very very light pressure (ex. rolling up to a light) but thats just the pads telling you you are not giving them the work out they want and deserve!

Wear wasnt bad after 1 event of pretty heavy use. Unfortunately my season was on hold after that so I dont have more info for you. These pads are great.
