Looking good Ian, are you doing anything with the wheels, or leaving them alone?

I got the matte black side markers in the Super-light tints. Also a black ///M boot badge.

Black kidneys definitely make the car look tougher.

Not painting wheels.

Ah, didn't noticed the tint and matte. I have got gloss black to match with the rest of the car. . Still 50/50 on Ti tips or Carbon tips.

One of the side markers has a small crack. The ///M badge has some chrome showing, can probably be touched up though... I can bring it for you if you want?. IND is sending me new items though... good vendor to deal with

Three weeks ago . Ordered mine from Alekshop as there is something else that needs to come over. They've only posted it a week ago - I think they were out of stock so hopefully will get it sometime this week.

I think the 1M's pull off the chrome better than the 135i's but I still prefer the blacked out look. Looks great, VO looks sweet in those pics.

Ian,

Did the CDV delete on the 1M make much difference?
I never ended up doing this on my 135 and the gearbox feels completely different in the 1M.
I actually didn't think they'd have it on the 1M.

The gearbox on the 1M does feel different than the 135i, but that is not where the CDV delete will be of benefit.

CDV delete regulates the pressure for release of the clutch plate against the flywheel, to stop that jerky feeling between gear changes.

Absolute must mod... actually my first mod on both my 135i and 1M.

Yes, 1M had CDV. Some swear by this mod. I did it on both my cars and didn't notice much. I think it depends on your clutch technique. The clutch take/release points feel more predictable, but don't expect a night and day change.

1M has the N55 135i transmission, not the 135i N54's.

For $25, easy mod. If anything it will make your clutch last longer. It puts less strain on the clutch and more on the rest of the driveline from what I have read, but I could be wrong.
