Every other week first thing saturday morning auto car wash and I wipe down / vaccum the interior. Actually does the auto car wash (brushless) damage the car at all?

Don't have a garage, so I use the free car wash at my dealership about once every few weeks. BSM is ridiculous to keep clean.

Hand wash about once a week if time and weather lets me. Twice a week if I can't stand the dirtiness.

My 135i is my first car that I really care about. I want to get into hand washing and waxing so it seems like the consensus is about once every 1-2 weeks. Should you not wax as often as well?

TIA

Handwash once a week if i can, if not every 2 weeks. Really need to invest in some good detailing products.

I'd be worried that washing daily would do more harm than good. How the hell do you guys find the time? Between work, gym and about an hour of downtime each day I'd never have time to do it every day. Even if I dove everyday I can't imagine washing daily!

It shouldn't, but it also doesn't clean your car at all.

Could be wrong, but I thought someone mentioned that they did, or possibly every other day. Just wondering how people find the time!

I just detailed my e82 135 about a month ago only using swissvax polishes and swissvax scandic shine's insignis v3. Since then, I give her a hand wash using swissvax car bath once a month and get a touch less car wash once every 4-5 days. Will recoat wax every 4-6 months. No swirls still!
