software stuff.. please help

So a friend and I thought we would load some software to my car. It didn't turn out well. We were trying to turn off my sidemarkers when my headlights are on (so they only turn on when blinkers are on). and a bunch of other crap... Now consequently my whole gauge cluster doesn't work


Anyway, I'm horrible with names, but I spoke with some people during the South Shore blvd in Boston gathering about doing software stuff on my car at some point. I mostly remember talking to ????? with the black 1M. Is there anyway someone could help me???

I have the computer and cable if you need it; but I don't know much about coding. There is a guy around town that can usually do it in a few minutes, he did DSCPLN's car without any issues. I haven't gotten around to coding the 1M but if I ever do, I'll have him do it so I don't screw anything up...
