I do have two shops up your way but they have not used COBB, so for out of Sydney guys i will have to set up the remote thing and you will have to use the Advan custom maps that we have done and ticked off. As you know you cant tune a car on the road so our maps are set up on the dyno for performance and engine safty.
More to come on this subject later
Good to know - was looking for someone to actually custom to the mods that I have. So I knew it needs to be dynoed with exhaust measured etc. I still haven't installed the mods I bought way back in December yet, so could be some time before I get those done.

Living in a regional area always make it difficult.

COBB new shipment

Hi all
The new shipment will be 2 weeks away please let me know if you would like me to put one aside for you.
To all those that purchased a Advan COBB welcome aboard, you will always have priority with tech and tuning info over the non Advan COBB purchasers thank you all.
regards Peter

Thanks for the COBB Peter. It arrived at my office this morning and I can't wait to install it during lunch haha.

I guess I can finally install those AR catless downpipes I have had in storage for the past 4 months.

Firstly, how exactly does one go about stacking cobb and a piggyback ? Or is there no value if not running meth?

I was under the impression that the AFRs with cobb are advantageous while the boost control of procede etc. is better than the cobb (boost>load). If so, would running the lowest stage1 Cobb map with procede map 2 have any positives?

lastly, are the stage2+FMIC aggressive maps completely off limits without meth? Can an octane booster be used to be able to avoid knock and run the higher boost?

Hi Peter - I am consdering the Cobb tune , but would like to know how it might react to the HPF full flow exhaust system. Also can you please update P&A for the 135 cobb tuner.

Am seriously thinking of changing over to Cobb.

I have jb3 currently and am too lazy to remove it. Is it possible to just leave it in map 0 and install the Cobb like this?

Also what is the current price of the Cobb? Thanks

From what I have been told it will be OK,
I know with my car map 0 with Procede and Cobb all is OK.

So how does it actually work? Do you have a Cobb map to work with map 4 on the Procede and a Cobb map to work with map 0 on the procede? How do you make it so the Procede controls only meth?

I'm curious as I've been thinking about going down this path as well.

Hi Peter, would love to order a Cobb AP for my 2009 135i. What's the current price posted to Brisbane and stock availability?

Thanks.
